My husband and I love this Smokin Guns Charcoal Rub, it's our go to for Steak night. I bought the large container, because we go through it fast. It is delicious. We love it!
I was looking for a BBQ themed advent calendar for a Christmas gift. Not very successful unless you lived outside of Australia. I found the Smokey Q sample sachets bundle x 6 flavours and purchased 2 lots to try create something of my own and add a few extra things.
Delivery was super quick!! However one of the sachets was rock solid due to moisture getting in somehow. I contacted the team and asked how I could arrange to return it for a replacement. Daniel replied and said no need to return it and they will send me a replacement. I was very grateful and explained the advent calendar scenario I was creating so it was much appreciated. Daniel came back and said " thats a great idea" and they will throw in some jerky. How nice was that. The replacement turned up but .... not just a sachet it was a whole jar of the rub that was being replaced. A very generous gesture and I can't wait to attend my giftees next BBQ.
Customer service was above and beyond.
I will be keeping my eye out next year for that advent calendar Daniel!!

To be honest, I haven’t tried all the rubs yet, but the ones I have, wow! I used the Honey Bacon, and the BBQ ribs rubs on some pork steaks, yummo. I highly recommend these rubs. They aren’t full of fillers, and pack a punch for the price. Give them a go!
Received the order but one of the containers did not have a seal on it (clearly opened at some point). I emailed 3 times wanting to swap the opened one. Eventually received apologetic email saying staff member down and will post a replacement asap. 2 weeks later and another 3 emails and I have yet to receive anything nor any communication. Really disappointing, could have turned a small issue into a glowing referral. You lost me!!

Purchased a few sachets from SmokeyQ direct as part of their EOFY specials. 3 of the four packets expire inside of four months. Not sure how I'm going to go through 800g of spice in 3.5 months. I ordered their shaker and 450g refill. What i got was a 500g shaker which expires in 3months, two 150g packets that expire a month later, and one 150g packet that expires in 2027. Spice that was manufactured 2 years ago is probably well past its prime, and I don't appreciate being a dumping ground for old stock. To add insult to injury: no response from SmokeyQ after I contacted them.
Picked up this rub randomly at the supermarket about 6 months ago and forgot about it. Dug it out of the pantry recently and used it once and it was very quickly a family favourite lots of flavour but not 'spicey' so is great for kids! Headed back to the shops to try and find it again when we ran out and couldn't find it! So glad I can now buy direct AND try a few other rubs as well. Great product!
The Chipotle rub is the best. A wonderful mix of subtle spices that while obvious are not overpowering. To top it off, just the right amount of chilli 🌶; you can feel it but it doesn't bite and doesn't seem to go beyond the mouth.
The best seasoning on the market!! I use it in chicken meats and it’s delicious in pasta sauces
It help enhance the flavour the pork that I love cooking. Whether it’s ribs to pork shoulder. Great rub with a great flavour.
